Building Hope Together This World Mental Health Day
Your support helps youth build the skills, confidence and connections they need to navigate life's challenges.

Creating a Generation of Mental Health Advocates
For World Mental Health Day, we're reflecting on the importance of helping young people feel connected and supported. Through peer-to-peer health education and selfsea, we're creating spaces where teens can:
•Learn that stress is a normal part of life
•Name their emotions without shame
•Access trusted resources when they need support
•Show up for friends during difficult times
•Advocate for their own well-being
Changing How Young People Understand Health
Through our programs, young people learn that health encompasses physical, mental and social wellbeing. That shift matters. When young people understand that mental health is health, they're more likely to seek support, care for themselves and show up for each other.
This World Mental Health Day, we're grateful for every college student volunteer who's led a workshop, every high school student who's asked a brave question, every young person using selfsea to find answers at 2am when they needed them most. Mental health is built in community. And this community is building hope.

“One thing that I learned from this is you could really do anything with your life. You know, you're the one deciding it and you're the one who chooses your own path. And that's one thing that I would take away from this, for sure. The biggest perception change that I've had is that I realized you don't have to do things alone. ”
